OUR HISTORY
Early Beginnings:
The mandate that saw the birth of the HALL OF STRENGTH MINISTRIES, could be expressed in the words of the lord, spoken to His servant during a Church service (which reads) bring back the lost glory of my reality. To fully understand the Father’s heart concerning this message and the call to ministry, series of prayer meetings were convened. During one of such prayer meetings and time of deep heart search before the Lord, He further said, It will take more than words.
Thus, the slogan ‘’Beyond Words’’ became favourite amongt the diverse circles in which we have been ministering. In obedience to the prophetic massages and the call, a prayer cell of four brethren initially began in February 1994 in the Living Room of the Hiadzi’s at Mawuli School bungalow 3B in the city of Ho in the Volta Region of Ghana.
After one of year of seeking the Lord’s guidance, the four brethren of the prayer cell were led to open the prayer meetings to others. This led to a sudden numerical explosion. With the lord’s faithfulness in answering prayers through signs and wonders in the power of the Holy spirit, there were many tremendous experiences of greater works in diverse spectacular forms - creative miracles, healings and deliverances. These experiences continuously lead to the salvation and deliverance of many people from other parts of Ghana, Ivory Coast, Togo, Benin, Nigeria etc. All this while, Rev. Evans Hiadzi continued to Minsiter as an International Evangelist with many denominations and on platforms of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International.
Later Developments:
After a mammoth crusade in March 1996 at the forecourt of the Ho Sports Stadium through the assistance of the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministries from Accra, the Hall of Strength Ministries was officially inaugurated. By divine intervention, a piece of land was acquired to erect a permanent structure for the worship and other para-church activities.
Membership continues to grow spiritually and numerically. To benefit Christendom and the Regional Capital, Ho, in particular, the Ministry continues to host seasoned Ministers of the Gospel including Rev. Eastwood Anaba of Fountain Gate Chapel, Rev. Steve Mensah of Charismatic Evangelistic Ministries, Rev. Sam Sam Korankye Ankrah of Royal House Chapel International and Rev. Yao Annor of International Central Gospel Church, International Evangelist Rev. Ampiah Kwofie, Evangelist Senyo Ziga of Grace for All Nations etc.
To further strengthen the works of the hall of Strength Ministries, the Founder and President, Rev. Evans Vincent Hiadzi was officially ordained in February 1999 by His Grace, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams of the Christian Action Faith Ministries with the support of Apostle Randy Brown from New York, USA.
Like the little mustard seed, the four member prayer cell has grown into an international church with 3 branches in Togo and a headquarters in Ghana. The Church anticipates starting branches all over the world in the near future. Praise and glory be to God for the great things He has done and continues to do in diverse ways through the Hall of Strength Ministries in reaching the dying world with the Living Word of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit
